Our prefabricated steel building use Galvalume Plus™ sheet metal panels. These panels have a standard size of about 2 feet by 10 feet and do not rely on internal structure for support. This means creating custom shapes and sizes is easy. If you can design it, we can make a pre-engineered steel building just for you.

Our engineers design Pioneer Steel buildings for quick construction and require minimal labour or tools. We also stock options such as ventilation and skylights to help you make your steel building truly unique. From quonset buildings, steel garage kits, recreational storage buildings to large commercial steel buildings, Pioneer Steel has everything you could want from a prefab steel building manufacturer.

A single radius, partial arch structure, clear span with structural frame supports on open side. Standard sizes range from 19' wide to 50' wide with open side clearances of 8', 10', 12', 14', 16' and varying bay spacings.

A single radius clear span low profile arch structure. Designed to act as a roof system utilizing conventional wall designs as sidewall support. Standard sizes range from 30' wide to 90' wide with heights in the 10' to 30' region.

A series of single radius arch structures sharing a common structural support system as an interior wall. Standard sizes range from 30 feet to 70 feet wide for each span. You can join these spans side by side in many combinations. You have the option to use double, triple, or additional spans.

Either single radius or multiple radius clear span arch structures. These designs cover standard single or double conveyors and act as a gallery. Standard sizes range from 10 feet wide to 30 feet wide. They have heights and sidewall clearances for any conveyor and walkway systems.

Pioneer Steel buildings have a wide variety of metal accessories available for every model of prefab metal building. From ventilators and skylights that provide air and light, to a wide selection of doors that make access to your Pioneer Steel building simple. Building a prefab building with Pioneer is easy and cost-effective. The pre-drilled base plates, self-adhesive caulking strips, and simple insulation pins make it simple to construct and durable.

Pioneer Steel baseplates make building simple and economical with surprising DIY ease. These pre-drilled template-system plates come in two options. You can choose the standard “U Channel” or our maintenance-free Industrial Quality model.

The baseplate option you choose will depend on your foundation needs. Each option fits with existing foundations. No digging should be required. This design makes it easy to relocate your prefabricated steel building in the future.

This optional feature is the Pioneer self-adhesive, wax-backed Caulking Strip. We create these caulking strips using high-quality butyl rubber. This material keeps its consistency in many different temperatures.

These long-lasting strips are easy to apply. They offer great protection against the elements. You can trust them for peace of mind with all our steel building kits.

Assembly is easy with our pre-engineered steel buildings. With Pioneer Steel, we assemble all our prefab metal buildings using one size of bolt throughout construction.

Pioneer Steel bolts are durable. We use only exclusive Leland JS1000™ plated bolts that meet and exceed 1,000 hours of salt spray testing! These bolts have a strong coating that prevents corrosion.

This coating makes them last longer than most others on the market. They also heal or repair themselves after scratches. The JS1000 is totally compatible with Aluminum (no Galvanic reaction), as well as other metals used in construction.

All Pioneer Steel buildings come with standard 1000-hour Corrosion Test Bolts. For areas needing better corrosion protection, like coastal regions, we offer 1500-hour Corrosion Test Bolts. These provide extra comfort and security. You can trust that your prefab steel building is more storm-resistant and protected from the elements.

The JS1000 coating process is non-toxic. In fact, the JS1000 bolt has been FDA approved for use with food products. In addition, the coating is hexavalent chromium free and R.O.H.S compliant.

The United States and European countries require all plating to follow this important rule. This rule limits certain dangerous substances.

Pioneer Steel provides many types of ready-made doors. This includes Sectional Overhead doors commonly found in steel garage kits, and different walk-in doors. We also have our own 4x7 Service Door. We build our doors to your particular specs, or you can install a standard door frame and door for your prefab steel building.

We know that good ventilation is important. It helps control the temperature in your steel building.

It also helps with humidity and air pressure. We have designed our ventilators to fit easily into your steel structure. You can choose from low-wind Turbo Vent or fixed Gravity Vent models. The custom engineered fit guarantees a barrier from the elements and animals.

You can choose any colour you like for these skylights. Constructed from durable fiberglass, they have an incredibly long lifespan.

Each panel gives up to 20 square feet of natural light. This light brightens the inside of your steel building during the day without using electricity. We manufacture our skylights in 12, 16, and 24 oz weights.

THE STRENGTH TO BLOCK NOISE AND WEATHER: Commercial insulated doors resist the elements. They also reduce outside noise and improve the look of your building. Choosing one of our insulated doors can help you save energy. Our eco-friendly polyurethane offers one of the highest R-Values in sectional doors.

We construct our garage doors from steel that contains 80% recycled material. Roll-formed galvanized steel struts and double-end hinges make them stronger. We do this to meet wind load standards and follow ANSI/DASMA 102-2004. You can find the protective coating system on both the interior and exterior steel.

ENVIRONMENTALLY COMPLIANT POLYURETHANE CONSTRUCTION: The polyurethane foam in our garage door section is fully enclosed inside the steel skins. This design puts the insulation properties of polyurethane foam far ahead of polystyrene foam for performance and value.

Polyurethane foam is a two-part system. It begins with two chemical blends that when mixed expand and cure to fill the garage door panel.

During the expansion, the foam fills the inside of the panel. It adheres completely to the steel skins of the garage door panel. This creates a strong and rigid composite structure.

Polyurethane foams are exceptionally stable when encapsulated inside a garage door section. Insulating with polyurethane provides a superior product with higher insulation properties and a stronger unitized section.

HARD-WORKING HARDWARE: The track is made of 2" or 3" galvanized steel. The size depends on the door. It has a bracket mount for wood jambs or a continuous reverse mount for steel jambs. For angle-mount track, door widths are 2" wider than the opening.

Track rollers are 2" or 3" case-hardened inner and outer steel races with 10-ball pre-lubricated bearings. Hinges, brackets and reinforcing struts are hot-dipped galvanized steel. Fasteners are placed for maximum corrosion resistance.

Counterbalancing springs are torsion type, computer calibrated to match door load. This provides a 10,000-cycle life at the minimum; optional spring wires can achieve 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 cycle requirements. Springs are wound from oil-tempered wire and mounted on a continuous cross header tube or solid shaft, as determined by torque load.

These pins are essential for anyone who wants to insulate their steel building. They easily attach to the building kit bolts. This helps you secure fiberglass insulation to your steel building’s structure. Insulating your steel building makes it suitable for year-round use.
